Volcom

Founded in 1991, Volcom is a global lifestyle brand that exemplifies bold, progressive ideals and the philosophy of opposition to conventional ways. When they were looking to migrate their store to Shopify, I worked closely with the team to ensure that designs remained faithful to their previous site, and that the overall UX transitioned seamlessly into the new platform.

Being familiar with the platform, I helped rethink UX and redesign their shop features to be more compatible to Shopify. Since the brand has built their reputation as a leader in the unconventional, it was important to provide plenty of layout variations for easy site customization. In addition, we were able to make Volcom an efficient path to purchase for their faithful consumers by making their blog clickable and shoppable.
